Abstract

As the world shrinks and international commerce expands, food-borne illnesses have become a major public health focus worldwide. The food handlers who may harbour the pathogens play a very important role in transmission of food borne diseases. These pathogens may be introduced into foods during production, processing, distribution and preparation.
