Abstract

The elderly population is increasing day-by-day with the development of science and medicine. India will be having an elderly population of 12.7 per cent by 2010 and 23.1 per cent in 2025. Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in the elderly.
