Abstract

The hyperbranched spherical monodisperse polymeric macromolecules known as dendrimers, although they are the latest additions to polymers, are finding many applications in the areas of biology, biotechnology, medicine, catalysis, and in nanoreactors, and has emerged as a class of materials with one of the fastest growing areas of research and applications. Certain areas related to this finer aspects of molecular architecture, molecular dynamics under the influence of shear force and in solution, precise thermal behavior have still not been understood precisely. In this paper some thoughts have been suggested for further research to exploit them in a most helpful manner.
