Work was carried out for 28 days in rats. 1: Control. 2: CdCl<sub>2</sub> @ 22.5 mg/kg b.wt/oral. 3: CPF @ 25 mg/kg b.wt/per oral. 4: CdCl<sub>2</sub>@22.5 mg + CPF @ 25 mg/kg b.wt/per oral. Results revealed a significant (P&lt;0.05) decrease in the concentration of total protein and albumin in Groups 2, 3 and 4 and also a significant (P&lt;0.05) increase in total cholesterol, triglycerides and phospholipids in Groups 2, 3 and 4 on 15<sup>th</sup> and 29<sup>th</sup> day of the experiment. The adverse changes in protein and lipid profile in combined Group were severe than individual Groups due to synergistic action of the combined pollutants. ER -
