Abstract

Synthetic and natural calcium hydroxylapatites exchange phosphate with arsenate. Exchange rate (i) increases with increase in AsO3-4, (ii) decreases with increase in the particle size of calcium hydroxylapatite and (iii) increases with increase of period of digestion.
