On the Subspaces of a Finsler Space

Abstract

DAVIES, has studied the theory of subspaces of a Finsler space by taking the covariant span vectors C^p_λ to be independent of the element of support, which is a particular case. In the present paper they have been taken as functions of the element of support. The definitions and notations of Davies have been mostly adopted.
