Abstract

An analytical treatment of the problem of representation of quadratic forms T[^r_c] by a given positive form S[^r_c] seems to be possible in the following general shape: Let S = S(^m) and T = T(ⁿ) with m > n be positive real matrices of m and n rows respectively.
