Abstract

Mitochondrial DNA of COI region of an oyster, Crassostrea cuttakensis, collected from Indian Sunderbans has been amplified. PCR with extracted DNA produced 675 bp PCR amplicon. The DNA sequence has been deposited to NCBI with accession number FJ 262988.
