Withania somnifera, commonly known ‘Ashwagandha’, is an indigenous herb containing diverse therapeutic properties. The herb is widely used in Ayurvedic medicine. The herb is a potential anti-oxidant, useful for combating a number of human diseases. The utility of the herb is presented in this communication.Downloads
