Within a vineyard, a negative correlation was evident between incidence of &lt;em&gt;P.&lt;/em&gt; &lt;em&gt;penetrans &lt;/em&gt;and population of &lt;em&gt;M&lt;/em&gt;. &lt;em&gt;javanica&lt;/em&gt;. The incidence of &lt;em&gt;P&lt;/em&gt;. &lt;em&gt;penetrans&lt;/em&gt; was maximum during the month of October. However, Nematode populations were more influenced by the ambient temperature.
