Abstract

Studies on the efficacy of granulosis virus against sugarcane early shoot borer, Chilo infuscatellus Snellen indicated that the treatments granulosis virus at 109 IBs/ml. granulosis virus at 109 IBs/ml + endosulfan 0.07 per cent, granulosis virus at 105 IBs/ml and granulosis virus at 1012 IBs/ml, respectively were found highly effective in checking the pest and recorded more number of mill able canes, cane yield and juice sucrose.
