Abstract

Different larval instars of Galleria mellonela were subjected to botanicals and microbial pesticides viz., dried neem leaf, neem oil 3 per cent, Bt kurstaki (Halt), Bt local strain-1 and Bt (Halt.) local strain-2, pongamia oil 3 per cent and NSKE 5 per cent. Among these Bt kurstaki and pongamia oil gave maximum larval mortality (93.33%) in both the cases. In case of Bt local strain-1&2, neem oil and NSKE 5 per cent gave intermediate comb protection and larval mortality.
