Abstract

Body measurements are extensively used in judging the nutritional status of individuals. Mainly, indices based on weight and height are popular as easy means of assessment. There are various reports regarding heights and weights of healthy adult population as well as choice of most suitable index. However similar information on young Indian adults is very less.
