Abstract

Hyperglycemia comprises of common hormonal disorder, which is often associated with an increased risk of atherosclerotic vascular disease. It is reported that hyperglycemia caused alteration in lipid profile. The relationship between the hyperglycemia and coronary artery diseases has been extensively studied but the relationship between hyperglycemia and reproductive function of female remain relatively unexplored. Thus present study deals with the effect of hyperglycemia on reproductive function in female albino rats.
