Abstract

From time immemorial plants have been the basic remedies for simple and uncomplicated ailments as they are easily available, cost-effective, time tested and have less hazardous side effects. Traditional medicine is the sum total of all knowledge and practices, whether explicable or not used in diagnosis, prevention and elimination of physical, mental or social imbalance and relying exclusively in practical experience and observation transferring from generation to generation.
