Abstract

Biochemical compositional variations were indicated among mushroom of the same species (Pleurotus florida) when cultivated on four variable straw substrates. The blood proteins of growing rats, when fed on cereals supplemented with paddy grown P. florida at 25 percent or 50 percent levels, were resolved differentially on polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
