Abstract

Cancer continues to be the most dominating challenge facing the medical world both in developed and developing countries. Epidemiological studies have shown nutrition as one of the most important factors influencing carcinogenesis. Many human cancers that are widely prevalent today can be prevented through modification of life styles of which diet appears to be an important agent.
