Atherogenic Profile of Patients at an Increased Risk of Cardiovascular Disease
Abstract
Among the many health predictions for the new millennium, the most alarming is cardiovascular disease, topping the list for death and disability. The worldwide proliferating rise in this disease has specifically grave implications for India pertaining to greater susceptibility of Indians due to their genetic make-up, lack of preventive interventions at the national level and limited access to tertiary cardiovascular care owing to its high cost for common economically challenged communities.Downloads
