Abstract

During recent years, considerable amount of work has been carried out by many workers on the use of oil seed meals for overcoming protein deficiency in the diets of childern in developing countries. The most abundant and promising sources of proteins in several developing countries are the meals obtained from groundnut, soya bean, cottonseed, sesame and coconut.
