Abstract

The concept of food and nutrition security has evolved over time from a basic need to fundamental human right. In the very concept of the essentiality of food for living there has been a paradigm shift from 'needs to human rights' approach. Rights living correlative duties or obligations. Rights have to be fulfilled. Responsibilities are shared both by Government and the concerned. Hence food is a fundamental right of every human being.
