Abstract

More than twenty-five years into tine HIV/AIDS pandemic, the disease still remains one of tine most serious challenges to global public health. Human Immuno Deficiency Virus (HIV) takes over certain immune system cells to make many copies of it and causes slow but constant damage to the immune system. Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is the condition of related symptoms that are caused by severe HIV infection. AIDS makes the body vulnerable to life-threatening illnesses called opportunistic infections.
