Abstract

Sport can be defined as physical activity carried out for recreation, competition, to attain excellence or a combination of these. In the modern age, sports is emerging as one of the most challenging and competitive professions in the world. Optimum performance for an athlete is achieved with systematic and consistent training combined with the right nutritional support.
