Dr. Saperka of Cape Town has assembled much information on pharmacoactive substances present in food and beverage, consumed by people and animals all over the world. The topics have been on a general basis. They include food from plant, animal, and marine-animal origin; additives; contamination; water, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.
