Abstract

Earlier studies have shown that weight for height (%) and weight/height to be good indices closely associated with the current nutritional status of infants and pre-school children. Weight/height was also observed to be a better index associated with body build of school children. Indices such as weight/height and weight/height were also suggested for use.
