Abstract

Of the many Pusa Chari fodder varieties developed by the I.A.R.I., and reported to be resistant to pests and diseases, unlike common jowar, the performance of Pusa Chari 23 (Sorghum bicolor X Sorghum sudanense) as a source of energy for ruminants has been discussed in an earlier communication.
