Abstract

As the author Jaya Nagaraja points out this is the first Indian book in Child Psychiatry devoted to the outstanding problems in childhood. She has taken special effort to highlight the important trends in this field as pertinent to Indian culture, its socio-economic status, family tradition and the prevailing credits, privileges and prejudices.
