Abstract

Very few reports on the effect of trypsin supplementation on the nutritive value of soybean and other legume proteins are available in literature. More over the results reported so far are quite contradictory. As early as 1951, Borchers and Ackerson reported the beneficial effect of trypsin supplementation on the nutritive value of soybean oil meal.
