Abstract

This book gives a good grasp of the subject matter of Biology which is a vast and heterogenous assemblage. The approach to the subject is critical and modern, embracing different aspects related, such as the background emphases and aims of biological sciences, curriculum studies, invitations to enquiry such as the role and nature, general knowledge, data experiment, control, hypothesis and problems in scientific investigation, quantitative relations in biology and the teaching of biology.
