Abstract

First and foremost I wish to express my sincere thanks to all of you for bestowing on me the honour of the Presidentiship of our Institute. In my capacity as President of Indian Institute of Welding and the Head of Welding Research Institute I will make my sincere efforts to further the cause of Welding Technology in our country.
