Abstract

Science of life and methods of healing for its ailments has its origin as far back as 5000 BC and continue to develop unabated till the recent times in the name of pharmaceutical Science. The author, in this article, has presented a chrono­ logical history of its development with due emphasis at different aspects of it nurtured to make headway by the specific persons at the specific period of time.
