Abstract

The present review highlights different modulatory effects of vitamins upon the hormonal action in animals. Years of research works related to the biological activities of vitamins revealed that the vitamins can profusely influence the endocrine glands i.e. they can act as the hormonal modulators. (Machlin, 1984). The modulatory effects of certain vitamins on different hormones are briefly discussed in the present review.
