Abstract

Transport through liquid membranes generated by vitamin D3 in series with a supporting membrane, has been studied. The data have been obtained to show the formation of liquid membrane in series with the supporting membrane. Transports of cations, glucose, and phosphate have been studied in prssence of Vitamin D3. The data on the modification in the permeability of cations, glucose and phosphate has been shown to be consistent with the reported biological actions of vitamin D3.
