Abstract

Let A be a ring with identity and π be a two-sided ideal. Following Bass (See [1] def. 3.1, Page 231), we say that an integer m ≥ 2 defines a stable range for the ideal π of A, if for any n ≥ m and for each (a1, a2, ..., an) ∈ An.
