An inventory of freshwater crustaceans from the state of West Bengal is attempted for the first time. A total of 185 species belonging to 95 genera and 29 families have been recorded from lentic and lotic ecosystems of the state. Habitat-wise as well as district-wise distribution of those species has been presented. Threats to crustacean diversity have also been briefly discussed.Downloads
