Female Literacy and Family Improvement - Part II Correlation between Female Literacy and Morbidity Pattern among Children


Abstract

In the developing countries, including India, the prevalence of malnutrition is widespread and Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is high, where the mothers are poor, illiterate and malnourished and live in insanitary condition. Mother's educational status appears to influence her child-care practices.
