Abstract

A common grass of tropics, Cynodon dactylon has captured the attention in the arena of medicine. "Bermuda grass" or "Bahama grass" as it is called in English and "Doob" in Hindi, is useful in treating many incurable ailments among poor communities and has the properties of purifying the blood and even increasing the blood volume.
