Abstract
One of the success stories of post-independent era has been the Green Revolution of sixties, which salvaged the country from being a chronic importer of food grains into an exporter. Since Independence while the population has increased three times, food grains production increased fourfold since the fifties and almost doubled since the seventies.Downloads
