Abstract

The importance of micronutrients in health and diseases has been receiving increasingly greater attention for the past three decades. Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDD) and Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA) are the two major micronutrient deficiency diseases with adverse consequences world wide especially for women of reproductive age and young children.
