Abstract

Autism is a complex pervasive developmental disorder that involves the functioning of the brain. It is emerging as the fastest growing serious developmental disability. Autism is not a psychological condition but a neuro-gastro-immunological disorder resulting from an immune-genetic error during fetal development.
