Abstract

A registered dietitian is a professional with Bachelors and Masters degree in Foods and Nutritional Sciences. The course work is approved by the "Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)”, USA. The objective of ACEND is to assist and safeguard with the quality and advancement of education programs in Nutrition and Dietetics. The Indian Dietetic Association, Headquartered at Kolkata is associated with International Congress of Dietetics in Canada.
