Abstract

Devadas et al compared the nutritive values, cooking qualities and acceptability of the grains of CSH-1, CSH-2 and two other hybrid strains of sorghum with the local strain Co-18. They found no significant differences within these strains except that the protein content of Co-18 was higher than that of the hybrids. In the present study two promising new hybrid strains have been compared with the well known hybrid cholam CSH-1.
