Abstract

The book entitled, "Trace Minerals in Foods'' edited by Kenneth T. Smith is an attempt to pull together information from a number of scientists with diverse backgrounds. There have been significant advances in the field of trace elements, not only in the discipline of nutrition, but in the related fields like biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, medicine, chemistry, microbiology and toxicology.
