Abstract

Sunflower oil is receiving increasing attention in recent times, because of the possibilities of reducing the blood cholesterol level of cardiac and diabetic patients using this oil. Sabir et al and Truswell state that diet is one of the most valid arms of prevention of atherosclerosis and this can be achieved through proper alterations in the quality and quantity of fat.
