Abstract

This publication is a report of a research conference organised by the British Nutrition Foundation to discuss the nutritional situation in an affluent society such as Britain. Apart from the invited British nutritionists, the membership of the conference included representatives of the Nutrition Foundation Inc. (U. S. A.) and of the Swedish Nutrition Foundation.
