The 'ESSEN’ that was

Abstract

This year’s Essen fair (held in Essen.West Germany) perhaps saw the highest ever number of foreign exhibitors & visitors. More than half of the exhibitors came from abroad drawn from 44 countries. Also nearly half of the 70,000 odd visitors came from outside.Indian participation was also significant and as meiny as fifteen Indian companies displayed their products in the exhibition. One could also see Indians here and Indians there and almost everywhere around the stalls at ESSEN.
