Abstract

In order to predict the Diversity of Non-Biting Midges of lower Gangetic plain of West Bengal, India, it is necessary to know about the life cycle, Physiography.GeoIogy.Relief, Drainage system.Natural vegetation and Global distribution of species and genus with reference to Distributional comparison of chironomid genera of Gangetic plain of West Bengal of Oriental realm with other Zoo-geographical realms.
