Abstract

In vertebrates, photoperiodic stimulation of hormonal secretions facilitate gonadal maturation and reproductive activities in their breeding season. The present article discusses the role of Pineal gland,- a brain - associated endocrine gland, regarding photoperiodic responses to reproduction.
