Nuclear Energy: How Cost-Effective, Green and Safe It Is: An Overview

Abstract

Various aspects of nuclear energy generation are mentioned. A brief account has been given of nuclear melt down so far happened and the response of States consequent on the Fukusima nuclear disaster. The factors like cost, environment pollution and safety have been hinted at. Energy is an absolute necessity but the nuclear energy is not indispensable for mankind.
